At SPDS, we are proud to say we do not use any automated handling systems. This means less damage to fragile goods and allows us to handle many goods that others would either refuse or damage.

We are extremely flexible in the range of goods we can carry, so if you’ve been disappointed in the past by other carriers contact us now for a more sympathetic approach.

Established in 1975, SPDS is Scotland’s largest independent parcels carrier.

We are a family-owned, private limited company, have an annual turnover of £5 million and employ over 100 staff.  

We operate 75 vehicles, ranging from 4 metre Mercedes Sprinters to 45-foot tractor and trailer units.

From five strategically located Scottish depots in Aberdeen, Inverness, Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh, we provide a totally reliable next day parcels delivery service throughout almost all of mainland Scotland. Our collection depot in Bradford services our customers in the North of England.

To maintain absolute control and achieve a consistent and reliable delivery performance, we have no franchisees or owner-drivers. We operate with our own vehicles and full-time employee drivers.
